Adult Retreat Center
Luther Crest's Adult comfortable Retreat
Center (ARC) can accommodate groups up to 59 people. The
Center has 15 motel-style guest rooms, 7 on the main level and 8 on
the lover level, each with its own bathroom, desk and beds.
The building is wheelchair accessible, including an elevator and one
handicap-accessible room for persons with special needs.
Linens are included with room rental in the ARC.
The upper level's
Cedar Room is a meeting room large enough for 60 people with windows
overlooking the woods below. The Cedar Room can be set up with
chairs and tables to accommodate group needs and features a hot
beverage station, refrigerator and dishwasher. The lower
level's Oak Room is a lounge which can seat up to 15 people and
features a fireplace and refrigerator.
Fireside Retreat Center, Mini-Retreat
Center and the Lodge
The Fireside Retreat Center is a
recently-renovated 1930 log cabin with two large stone fireplaces
and a stairway leading to the water's edge on beautiful Lake Carlos.
The main level is handicap-accessible, with bunk beds sleeping up to
10, 2 bathrooms, a large meeting room for 18 people and a small
conference room for 6 people. The lower level has bunk beds
sleeping up to 8 people and a meeting room for 9 people.
The Mini-Retreat
Center is another recently-renovated 1930 log cabin. It has a
stone fireplace in the living area and two bathrooms. Three
bedrooms with bunk beds provide sleeping space for up to 15 people.
Once Luther Crest's
dining hall, the Lodge is a picturesque log meeting area with a
stone fireplace, flexible seating for up to 50 people, and lounge
seating on one end. Its central location between the Fireside
and Mini-Retreat Centers make it ideally suited for groups wishing
to utilize the camp's original buildings for lodging and meeting
facilities.
Other Four-Season Cabins
Our additional 6
rustic but winterized cabins can each accommodate approximately 15
guests and each has bathroom facilities. A winterized shower
house, non-winterized cabins and non-winterized shower house are
also available.
Nelson Multi-purpose Program Center
Completed in 2001, this 10,400 sq. ft.
building offers many new program opportunities for individuals and
groups of all ages!
The Gymnasium can be set up for both volleyball and basketball, full
or half-court. This spacious and well-lighted room can also
host a large group meeting for up to 400 persons and is an excellent
facility for conferences in need of exhibit and meeting space.
Luther Crest's Nature Center has nature displays, interactive
learning stations, live animals and an aquarium. The Spruce
Room is a comfortable and cozy meeting room for up to 25 people.
The building's Theater provides meeting space for up to 80 people.
It is also a safe and secure storm shelter for up to 250 people.
