Greeting from Luther Crest Bible Camp! I hope that this school year is treating you well.

As we get ready for even cooler weather ahead, I ask you to give warm thought to the upcoming summer. Now is the time to be thinking about if you would like to have a day camp team come to your church this summer and what week you would like them to come. Our Day Camp program sends a team of staff members who are well trained, college-aged. They bring their energy, enthusiasm along with, songs, crafts, games, Bible studies, and meaningful worship experiences right to your church. Our programming is planned for those who have just finished the school year in grades K-6th. We will also work with you to develop a program that best fits the needs of your congregation. Teams that are available:

• June 27- July 1: 2 Teams
• July 4-8: 1 Team
• July 11-15: 3 Teams
• July 25-29: 1
• Aug 1-5: 1 Team

We will also be hosting tow Day Camps at Luther Crest on the weeks of July 19-22 and July 26-29 look for more information on these Day Camps in our summer brochure.

If you see a date that is of interest to your church please contact me by email or phone to let me know. I will then pencil your church into the schedule and send off a contract to you. Once we have received the contract and $450 deposit it will be official and the spot you have picked will be yours. Shortly after receiving the contract I will be sending you a Congregational Planning Guide and a few other items that will help you plan for your summer Day Camp with us! The cost will be $50.00 per camper with a minimum charge of $1,500.00 (the equivalent of 30 campers). If more than 30 children register, Luther Crest will make arrangements to send additional staff.

We are excited to announce our 2010 summer theme, Filled With Joy! The theme verse this year comes from Psalm 126:2-4 The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. Once again, we will be using parts of the ELCA Outdoor Ministries curriculum and will work to ensure that all our Day Camp materials are age-appropriate.
