Our home site, established in 1945, is
located 7 miles north of Alexandria, MN, with 98 acres of maple and
basswood forests, natural prairie, pond and waterfront on beautiful
Lake Carlos. Our facilities include a low-ropes challenge
course, indoor gym and modern storm shelter, nature center complete
with assorted animals, jumping tower, paddle boats, forest trails
and more. Grades listed with each program are for the grade TO
BE COMPLETED PRIOR to the summer.
Onsite Alex Day Camp (K-3 grade)
Experience Luther Crest
during the day and go home at night! Start with an
orientation at Luther Crest Alex on Sunday afternoon. Plan to arrive
at camp Monday through Thursday at 9:00 AM and depart at 3:00 PM.
Parents are responsible for a sack lunch and transportation each
day.

Seekers (2-3 grade)
The first opportunity to stay overnight at Luther Crest!
Campers stay in a cabin with
a group of up to 8 campers and an amazing college-aged counselor.
This is a shorter two-night option for younger campers seeking an
adventure. Arrive on Wednesday and leave Friday afternoon - just in
time to celebrate Fourth of July fireworks with your family!!!

Faith-Leapers (4-6
grade) Come to Luther Crest
for a super-exciting, faith-leaping week of fabulous fun!
Come to camp for a whole week! Each
cabin has about 10 campers and a caring, crazy, Christian,
college-age counselor. Enjoy a campout in the woods, wacky worship,
awesome Bible talks, Earth Play and Nature Room live-animal fun. The
faith journey begins on Sunday and ends at noon on Friday.

Lutheran Music Choir Camp
(6-8 grade) ***NEW***
An exciting new music camp for youth interested in singing and
learning more about choral music!
Lutheran Music
Program (LMP) is bringing a conductor an an inspiring team of choral
faculty to provide musical instruction to Luther Crest! For over 25
years, LMP has held the Lutheran Summer Music Academy & Festival
featuring an outstanding faculty of artists and teachers who guide
gifted high school students from around the country through a month
of intensive musical study and performance. Now, LMP extends this
tradition of excellence through the expansion of programming to
junior high youth through this new program. During the week each
camper will receive both small and large group musical instruction
and opportunities to mentor with the LMP faculty. While this camp is
specially-focused, campers will have Luther Crest counselors and
enjoy many typical camp activities including Bible study, swimming,
and campfires. The week starts Sunday afternoon, with a concert at
the end of the camp week for parents and friends of Luther Crest.
August 3-8

Don't wait to register! There are only so many spaces for each
vocal area and those will fill quickly! There will be a drawing for
six free i-Pod docking stations for those registered by February
1st!!! Please include your vocal preference (high or low) by your
name on the registration form.
Witnesses (7-8
grade) Hang out with
old and new friends as you build stronger relationships in Christ!
Have you ever been an eyewitness to the amazing love of Christ?
Deepen your faith and learn how to be witnesses to the faith, hope
and joy experienced as you live a Christ-centered life! All the fun
you expect at Luther Crest, including daily low-ropes challenge
course, lively Bible talks, as well as NEW OFF-SITE campouts. Come
to camp Sunday afternoon, and enjoy the week through closing worship
Friday at noon.

Confirmation Camp
(7-9 grade) ***NEW***
What happens when we combine the
amazing gifts of the people at your church with the Luther Crest
staff? You get an amazing mix of faith experiences!!!
Sign up for camp as a confirmation group and you can gain a deeper
grasp of the Bible and strengthen your faith as you grow in faith
together! Who was this Martin Luther guy anyway and what does it
mean to be saved by grace through faith? Each day, confirmation
classes will be taught by your pastor and/or youth leaders, as well
as all the fun you expect at Luther Crest, including time at the
beach, arts and crafts and an evening campout trip off-site.
Participate and plan wacky, faith-filled worships and more. Come to
camp Sunday afternoon and grow in faith throughout the week ending
with closing worship at noon on Friday. Contact the Program Director
at the camp office for details, including one free adult leader per
10 confirmation campers. This week is for confirmation groups only.
